Who We Are

The IPRG aims to

Guide the work of Researchers, Apiculturists, Manufacturers and Formulators, to explore the many properties of propolis in both human and bee health and also in agriculture. To encourage collaboration across academic disciplines and between researchers and industry.
Create and maintain a data base of research in all the above areas and to make this database freely available to members of the group.
To organise, in conjunction with ARC, international conferences dedicated to the further understanding and exploration of propolis.

Membership

Membership of the group is open to anyone engaged in working with, understanding, research into propolis. Membership is free but we would ask that members provide a donation to IPRG appropriate to the size of their organisation and or means, to help develop the data bases and to go towards organising conferences.

Management and Administration

The Directors of ARC will provide the initial coordination, administration and web hosting for IPRG.

Research Databases

IPRG is currently working towards putting on line many research data bases including the work of ARC over the last 10 years, the extensive body of work undertaken by Professor Vassya Bankova over the last 30 years and a general database of propolis research also generously provided by Professor Bankova. Suggestions and or contributions to this data base will be gratefully received.
